Subject: Immediate Compliance Required for Status Report Submissions Dear Team, It has come to our attention that there have been significant lapses in the submission of daily and weekly status reports by employees, interns, and volunteers. This is unacceptable and will no longer be tolerated. Effective immediately, all employees, interns, and volunteers are required to submit their Daily Status Reports and Weekly Status Reports without fail. These reports must be ready for review during the weekend meetings. This directive follows the instructions laid out in our CEO's letter and the Board of Resolution Letter CPV/2024/05/14-01 dated 14.05.2024. Furthermore, you must follow up on any client assignments promptly. This applies to tasks assigned by the CEO, CTO, or HR. The CTO will also receive directives from the CEO and HR. This massive crackdown on cybercrime is a clear message to all those involved in such illegal activities that their actions will not go unnoticed or unpunished. 📍 The maximum of 2,002 accounts were frozen in Deoghar district, followed by 1,183 in Dhanbad and 959 in Ranchi. Concerns over a potential data breach at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) have reignited as data purportedly from the breach has appeared again on the dark web. Here's what we know: 1️⃣ On April 24, 2024, threat actor 'Perell' released a database containing over 2.9 million records, allegedly from BSNL. This data was originally part of an extortion scheme in December 2023. 2️⃣ Despite the lapse in time, the threat to user privacy remains significant as the supposedly stolen data has been made publicly available. 3️⃣ Discussions on BreachForums indicate that the leaked data, claimed to be from 2024, actually dates back to 2023, raising questions about the motive behind this move. The elaborate scheme, initiated through WhatsApp with a seemingly innocuous job offer, targeted unsuspecting victims who were lured into depositing money into various accounts. Despite initial legitimacy, the operation turned sinister, resulting in significant financial losses for the victims. The CID's coordinated raid, together with Jamshedpur police, uncovered a network spanning multiple countries, highlighting the sophisticated tactics used by cybercriminals.
