𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗠𝗖 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝘀 ₹𝟮,𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝗘𝗕𝗜 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗲 Quant Mutual Fund, under SEBI investigation for suspected front-running, faced its first weekly net outflows of 2024, totaling ₹2,800 crore between June 24-30. This marks the end of a six-month positive inflow streak. The Quant Small Cap Fund experienced the highest outflows, contributing 28% of the total. The Quant Active Fund, Quant ELSS Tax Saver Fund, Quant Mid Cap Fund, and Quant Flexi Cap Fund also saw significant outflows. Inflexor Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, recently closed the first round of its Rs 350 crore Opportunities Fund, securing approximately 80% of the target corpus with Rs 280 crore. The primary investor in this fund is HDFC AMC Select AIF FoF I Scheme, managed by HDFC Asset Management Company, making it a dominant limited partner (LP) in the initiative. Additional LPs include high-net-worth individuals, family offices, corporates, and other institutional investors. The Opportunities Fund, set for a final close by the end of this month, will allocate capital to expand and maintain Inflexor’s portfolio. Part of the corpus will be directed towards acquiring the entire portfolio from Inflexor’s first fund, which includes investments in tech-focused companies like Atomberg Technologies , PlayShifu, Entropik, Bellatrix, and CloudSEK. Over the next three to five years, Inflexor also aims to increase its stake in these companies to support their growth. Currently, Inflexor is also deploying capital from its second fund, raised in 2021, which has backed companies such as Kale Logistics Solutions , Atomberg, PlayShifu, ClickPost, and Bioprime™. The firm recently achieved a notable exit from Steradian Semiconductors, selling it to a Tokyo-listed strategic partner, demonstrating its potential for profitable exits. Founded by Venkat Vallabhaneni, Jatin Desai, Pratip Mazumdar, Inflexor Ventures manages Rs 1,000 crore in assets across a portfolio of 26 companies.
