I think its time for GOI to defunct IMD and avoid wasting Crores on them. All schools were closed today citing Red Alert heavy rainfall. And to my no surprise, I had predicted it will not rain, not even a single drop of rain so far and over and above it was sunny today!!! This is the third time it has happened Red/Orange Alert from IMD in last 2 years and totally opposite. Real pity state of IMD and our weather predictions. Campus immersion modules are super enriching in Executive MBA - IIM Amritsar . The Executive Storytelling session was one of the favourites during this module. 3 key retained takeaways: 1. Not words but Body Language does most of the talking. 2. Even when we are talking, the tone matters more than our words. 3. Anecdotes and personal story examples work better than numbers to create a retained impact, while presenting a topic.

Had a wonderful discussion today on CNBC Awaaz, "Consumer Adda", a show which inspires millions in India to speak up on Consumer related topics. Today I discussed with my panel of eminent guests like Ridhima Dua (Relationship Coach) and Nirali Bhatia (Cyber Psychologist ) on the Impact of Smartphone on Relationships these days and how to control them. #Time - Is all we have and we don't have ⏳⏰⌛ At times when I moved things at a pace everyday, it sounded 'rushing" to many. "#Aggressive " to a few. When I pulled people towards discipline in every activity we do, it sounded "hard" to them. No growth is a cake walk. A bed of roses 🌹 #Outcomes are not just magic ✨ to happen all of a sudden without being step by step growth. We need to face many #failures before we succeed in a goal. No success is free of cost.
