Hi Everyone! Here is my sixth task as a Power BI intern at Cognifyz Technologies.💻📈 🎯Task 6 : Source of Information. Objective : Analyze the sources from which individuals gather investment information.📊 Key Steps I Followed : ◼️Source Analysis : 🔺Visualize where individuals get their investment information (e.g.Newspapers, Internet). ◼️Insight Extraction : 🔺Analyze which sources are most commonly relied upon by investors. 💡 Insights & Discoveries : 📌 The most popular sources for investment information are Financial consultants by being 16 and Newspapers and Magazines by being 14. 📌 While Television by being 6 and Internet by being 4 are considered quite less popular sources for investment information. 📌 The most preferred sources are Mutual Funds by being 18 and Equity by being 10 . 📌 While Fixed deposit by being 9 and PPF by being 3 has the lower count of information source this suggest comparatively less interest of investors. #cognifyz #cognifyzTech #cognifyzTechnologies #dataanalysis #datavisualization #internship #PowerBI

This task helped me to clean and prepare data for analysis using Google Sheets. Data formatting and validation in data analysis are are essential steps in data analysis to ensure accuracy and consistency. 1. Understanding Data Types ▪️ Common data types include numeric (numbers), text (strings), and date (time-based data). ▪️ Knowing these types helps in choosing the right functions and methods to process the data. 2. Using Function Libraries ▪️ Tools like Python's pandas or Excel have built-in functions to handle various data types efficiently. 3. Working with Different Data Types ▪️ Numeric: Used for calculations, e.g., sales, temperatures. ▪️ Text: Handles names, addresses, or any non-numeric information. ▪️ Date: Manages time-based data for trends or timelines. 4. Data Cleaning ▪️ Duplicate Data: Removing duplicate entries to avoid errors. ▪️ Data Validation: Ensures all data is in the correct format, range, or structure (e.g., no negative ages).
