APIs and Fetching Data in JavaScript JavaScript me APIs ka matlab hai wo interfaces jo doosre systems ya services se data fetch ya communicate karne me help karte hain. Web development me APIs ka main use data fetch karne ke liye hota hai, jaise ki server ya external sources (e.g., REST APIs, GraphQL APIs). JavaScript me data fetch karne ke liye sabse commonly fetch() method aur async/await ka use kiya jata hai. Data Fetching ka Basic Example using fetch() fetch() JavaScript ka built-in function hai jo server se data GET ya POST karne ke kaam aata hai. Yeh promise-based hai, toh asyncronously kaam karta hai aur response object return karta hai. Example: Basic GET Request > fetch("https://lnkd.in/d-qUYg8u") > .then(response => response.json()) // Response ko JSON me convert karte hain > .then(data => console.log(data))  // Data ko console me display karte hain > .catch(error => console.error("Error:", error)); // Agar error aaye toh error show kare Yahaan fetch() URL ko call karta hai aur uska response JSON format me convert karke console me print kiya jata hai. Using async/await with Fetching Data async/await syntax promises ko handle karne ka ek cleaner way provide karta hai. Iska use data fetching ko simpler aur readable banata hai. Example: GET Request using async/await > async function fetchData() { > try { > const response = await fetch("https://lnkd.in/d-qUYg8u"); > const data = await response.json(); > console.log(data); > } catch (error) { > console.error("Error:", error); > } } fetchData(); Yahaan await fetch request ke response ka wait karta hai aur fir data JSON me convert karta hai. Common Use Cases of Fetching Data 1] Display Data: Frontend application me fetched data ko render karna, jaise user information ya products. Form Submission: Form data ko backend server par send karna. 2] Live Updates: APIs se real-time ya periodic data fetch karke live data show karna (e.g., weather updates, stock prices). 3] CRUD Operations: REST APIs ke through Create, Read, Update, aur Delete actions perform karna. JavaScript me fetch() aur async/await ke use se APIs se data fetch ya post kiya jata hai. Ye method APIs ke saath easy aur efficient communication allow karte hain, jo modern web applications me data flow manage karne ka main source hai.
