From studying a few brands on ig this is what I found 1. Brand posts every 2 days, consistent growth keeps happening 2. But somewhere in the journey there comes an inflection point 3. A reel or a video takes over the internet and gets the brand 20-30k additional followers which would have otherwise taken them 2 months. Just in 1 day 4. This point changes brand's perception. People who never thought of it starts adding that brand to the cart just because they liked that campaign and it felt 'Cool' 5. After this however brand's growth returns to a new normal 6. If we study this infliction point it is always smthn that nobody was expecting. 🏖️ A very traditional brand doing a funny skit. 🏖️ CEO being part of an ad 🏖️ Relatable struggles - Smthn that Rapido's ig is nailing Customers expect X but Y happens. Be it raps, memes, brands hosting open mics. It's the same principle Surprise. It'll however get to a point one day when these surprises will become normal and we'll set on a new journey to find a new infliction point, possibly new careers lol but until then let's keep distributing coolness 🤙🏻 #marketing #instagram

You are probably not in the right ecosystem if you undervalue yourself 5 years ago i used to undervalue myself.. The Dreams and Actions that were never thought of became a reality only after i started channelising my attention into it The Ecosystem you are in decides everything.. your exposure is the level of growth that happens With the Internet anyone can be exposed to any amount of knowledge now, but there are certain kinds of exposure which you dont get online, thats how to build a team, how to crack sustainable systems, how to build high end and long term value Being exposed to the right kind of ecosystem and people has helped me network with people who are absolute best in their domains, clients in different countries who are adding enormous value to the world in terms of products and services.. If i was never exposed to all these networks and ecosystem i would have probably assumed life happens only with capital So if you are undervaluing yourself Start Questioning if it is limiting you or liberating you. Over 40 crore people watched the first 18 matches on Star Sports, and 11 crore folks tuned in on Jio's streaming platform. That's a crazy number of eyeballs! Now, let's talk about branding. Brands love IPL because it's a chance to get noticed by millions. But not all branding efforts hit the bullseye. For example, some brands end up hidden or unreadable on team jerseys or caps. And get this—brands pay anywhere from ₹80 lakh to ₹3 crore per year to sponsor teams! But sometimes, they don't get much bang for their buck. Take Puma, for instance. Instead of putting its full name, it uses a weird symbol on jerseys. On the other hand, Jio nails it by being everywhere on team sleeves. But there's a head-scratcher too. Some brands in the IPL seem out of place. Like, why are tire and solar energy companies sponsoring cricket teams? And have you noticed? There are more ads from housing and construction companies than your regular soap or cola brands. It's a bit weird, right? The big lesson here? In marketing, common sense rules. Just slapping your brand on IPL doesn't guarantee people will notice. It's all about smart planning and making sure your brand stands out in the crowd. I Cracked the code of anchoring!! Initially when I anchored in any event → I used to fumble → Slip of tongue was on the peak → Heartbeats used to be on the 4th gear Recently I implemented some changes:- 1) Don't expect or imagine anything about that event 2) Script should be in points , not in paras 3) Just enjoy the vibes of the event... whether it's a formal or an informal event FORMAL- Listen , observe and behave carefully INFORMAL - Observe , pass comments, be humourous and don't think about behaviour... Be bindaas 4) Fumbling and slipping of tongue can only be avoided through PRACTICE . 5) Have a good grip on synonyms so that some or the word always pops up from your vocabulary at the very moment 5) Take feedback from the audience while interacting with them off stage P.S. Digital marketing is not giving me results! Yesterday when I was speaking with one prospect she asked me a few questions. Mitali : I tried Digital marketing earlier, i burned lot of money on it but it didn't worked for me. Me: okay what did you do? Mitali : I hired a digital marketer. He created daily content for me and posted on my social media handles. Me : Okay and did you check that the content was effective? Mitali : No, I guess that was AI generated content. Me : Okay, but then why did you paid for content creation when you yourself can create the content for your social media handles? Mitali : I don't have enough time to create content Me: But it does not take lot of time to create your own content Mitali : How? Me: Do you have kids? Mitali: Yes! Me : Do you hire anyone to praise your kids? Mitali: Why would I hire anybody to praise my kids? Me: Then why do you need anybody or even AI to write content for your business? Why can't you write it on your own? Important Tip : Imagine your business as your baby and then see how you can create impressive content! The audience is now able to differentiate the content created by AI and the one that is written by you straight from your heart! At times I too take help of AI , but not always! I asked myself during late-night strategy sessions, surrounded by coffee cups and scattered notes. "Yes, we can," I would reply, my determination growing stronger with each passing day. Yes, there were lost sales due to incorrect inventory. However, it also meant that the campaign outperformed our expectations. And moving from 12th to 3rd in the market that year was no easy task. Here’s what I learnt from the episode: 1. You won’t always get it right, so learn from the mistake. 2. Thoroughly assess market readiness. 3. Learn to celebrate your wins even if all didn’t go well. 4. It’s better to overestimate than to underestimate. 5. Use data-driven projections. The last argument applies to today's marketers. We didn't have much access to data at the time. Lesson learned.
