Institutional investments in real estate touch $2.52 billion in April-June quarter: Colliers India Institutional investment in Indian real estate touched $2.52 billion in the April to June quarter of 2024 up by 20% from $2106.4 million in the same period last year, a report by Colliers India has said. “Private equity investments in Indian real estate have shown remarkable resilience and strength in the first half of the year at $3.5 billion, reflecting robust market confidence. Our latest developer survey, conducted in collaboration with CREDAI National , reflects a number of key insights on the present real estate landscape. 53% of the developers surveyed acknowledged that buyer enquiries and engagement increased in 2023 compared to 2022. While half of them project residential demand to remain stable, 27% of the developers strongly feel demand will increase by up to 25%.   Market trends are significantly evolving, as investors and homebuyers are pivoting towards plotted developments, branded residences, and second homes in remote locations.
