Instead of the usual motivational talk, let me share some practical tips that have helped me navigate sales pressure effectively:- 1️⃣ Master the Sales Formula Back in the day, I would visit stockists, note physical stock counts, and calculate secondary sales manually:- 👉Formula: Opening Stock + Primary Sales - Closing Stock = Secondary Sales. Order Value: Secondary Sales × 1.5 - Closing Stock. 👉This systematic approach ensured stocks moved smoothly. Today, many rely solely on computerised statements, leading to haphazard stock accumulation. Take charge and strategies for balanced stock levels. 2️⃣ Brand-Specific Promotional Activities Got a brand sitting idle at stockists’ warehouses? Here’s what you can do:- 👉Propose CRM campaigns like juice counters, free sample distribution, OPD camps, or targeted events. 👉Collaborate with 5-7 key doctors (KOLs) to create demand and clear old stock efficiently, Engage these Drs scientifically, helps them in such a way that he can starts supporting you, this ways you can liquidate the Dumps Stocks. 3️⃣ Create Strategic Vacuum Sometimes, a temporary stock vacuum can work wonders. Legal Costs becoming a concern for the India Inc 🤔 What can be done to contain these costs !! The appended article itself hints at a solution, when it says companies to explore legal tech & #Mediation #settlements to reduce this costs. #Mediation can and does help both as a preventive tool as well as curative. It cannot and should not be plainly called faster & cheaper but surely “relatively” cheaper & faster…. than the other options. The concept of #dealmediation during new transactions/M&As & contract reviews through #conflictmanagers is a great dispute preventive tool where as the negotiation /mediation to resolve and solve an existing dispute is a great curative tool… If process is planned well and adhered to, which a trained mediator assures & ensures, you surely prevent, save & avoid unnecessary legal costs at all stages 🤝🤝 Try it out to believe it…!! Government schemes bolster startup growth in India’s pharmaceutical sector The Government of India has rolled out several initiatives to boost startups, with a significant focus on the pharmaceutical sector. The Department of Pharmaceuticals recently launched the Scheme for Promotion of Research and Innovation in Pharma-MedTech sector (PRIP), which targets startups through its Component BIII. Out of 125 research projects identified in six priority areas, 50 are specifically designated for pharmaceutical startups. The broader Startup India Initiative, launched on January 16, 2016, has been instrumental in fostering innovation and encouraging investments across various industries, including pharmaceuticals. This initiative encompasses three flagship schemes: the Fund of Funds for Startups (FFS), the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS), and the Credit Guarantee Scheme for Startups (CGSS). According to the statement published by PIB, the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), under the Department of Biotechnology, offers funding assistance through initiatives like the Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG), Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (SEED), and Launching Entrepreneurial Driven Affordable Products (LEAP) schemes. These programs provide funding ranging from INR 30 Lakhs to INR 100 Lakhs per startup, aiding in refining ideas, establishing proof-of-concepts, piloting, and commercialising products and technologies. BIRAC also supports innovation and research in biotechnology through the i4 and PACE programs. As of June 30, 2024, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has recognised a total of 1,40,803 entities as startups, with 2,127 of these in the pharmaceutical sector.
