CCI - copy - customise - innovate First copy what the new competition is offering to the customer which makes them to shift. Then customise it to your geography, your demography etc Lastly innovate - from the new understanding offer a plus one which will make you ahead of competition. For example when iPhone was launched suddenly the phone industry is disrupted because customers preference shifted to the new touch phone. Blackberry which was a leader in business phones till then resisted and failed to capture. Had they quickly adopted to smart phone features and added few business customers requirements they would have sailed in their sales.
