    Now-a-days mark sheet forgery has become a major havoc to the employers. At preset the only way to detect any forgery from the college issued mark sheet is to apply for ‘Student Data Verification’ which is a tedious and costly for both corporate people and COE at the college college. The main aim of our project is to find a simple, quick and effective system to detect the forgery in the mark sheets. We embed a QR code in the mark sheet which encodes the mark details of the student. So any HR or any employer who needs to verify the correctness of the mark sheet can just take his mobile phone and use the QR code reader application which is available for free of cost and scan the code. He will automatically be redirected to a link which has two options, either to view the original mark sheet or check the marks printed and point out the forged marks. This system can easily be implemented and it is virtually impossible to alter the QR code that is embedded within a mark sheet. So it increases the complexity of the forgery process and hence it is computationally secure as per the laws of security.
