    This app aims at making the most of an attendance tracking application by providing the facility of maintaining record semester wise with editable timetable and remainder for classes students are falling short in attendance.

    This app aims at making the most of an attendance tracking application by providing the facility of maintaining record semester wise with editable timetable and remainder for classes students are falling short in attendance.

    Before designing the product, I first carried out an exploratory research on the existing application available on Play Store. After finding out the limitations in the existing products, I wrote down problem statement considering target audience in mind and focusing on end goals at the same time. Then, I conducted a user study to find out their expectation from the product and what they thought about my solution to the problem. Noting it all down, I was finally able to boil down to Product goals, which were later formulated in a full-fledged application with well-laid out Information Architecture.

  • Appetizer-Mess App for IIT Roorkee

    This project aims at ease out the process of mess management in IIT Roorkee. the application will have students and administration entitlements, giving the administration the power to update and fiddle up with the application.
    My part as UI/UX Designer was to design a product which allows students to look at their weekly menu, allow them to leave meal efficiently and a self-sustained system for feedback on various mess issues.

    My part as UI/UX Designer was to design a product which allows students to look at their weekly menu, allow them to leave meal efficiently and a self-sustained system for feedback on various mess issues.

    1. Bring real life experience of students in mess through illustrations(during biometric attendance and all).
    2. Make login procedure easy by asking minimum credentials, i.e. Enrollment No. and Password
    3. Display of mess menu in a familiar way (facebook posts and Noticeboards)
    4. Make 'leave meal' as one button feature to promote app usage
    5. A feature which allows user to leave meals in sequence
    6. Handle leave history and show count of leaves remained in a semester
    7. A unique way to show user details
