"Read the Room", a very on -trend and "right on the money" philosophy has been echoed by many. However, this only reaches success when we are cognizant of the fact that the "Room" is reading us too. This is a continuous process that happens 24/7 around us, subconsciously. The corner stone of effective communication revolves around your capability to read the Room and engage & integrate the views of those in the Room with yours. Is your vision, your goal integrating with the rooms - The Boards,Your Team or even your family. You may have a steep target but how are you going to ensure the synergy within the team to compliment and achieve that target. Are you actively listening or are you actively telling? Something to think about! The sum is always greater than it's parts and in order to achieve this, if you have missed adding motivation and drive which impacts your team positively on a personal level - then a very important box has been missed. People give their best when an outcome enhances their personal drive for success which boosts self image. Maybe today relook at your targets,goals and vision again and evaluate their engagement levels to see if you are part of the Room, is your team in the same Room and what you need to do to ensure the Room is "Lit" #goals #teams #goals #vision #teamwork #leadership

Where should we start ? This is a question that is often asked when I speak about our journey of increasingly becoming skills-based at Standard Chartered. While I strongly believe that systems and architectures are important for scaling change; to seed and drive the shift, it needs to begin with making skills a part of the day-to-day experience of the workforce. For us at the Bank, this started with strengthening a learning habit amongst our people and enabling skill building in ways that have been hyper-personalised and democratised (..and here has been the important role of technology). It is critical that this work rooted in the commercial reality of the business. While a shift to becoming a skills-powered organisation definitely helps enhance the employee value proposition; upskilling/ reskilling efforts can also enable very different ‘build’ vs ‘buy’ decisions on the capabilities needed to deliver the business strategy. And the rapid deployment of skills to areas of biggest opportunity can drive significant economic impact - connecting our colleagues’ skills to c2500 ‘gigs’ through our internal talent marketplace, has already allowed us to unlock more than USD 8.5 mn of productivity ! A key piece in collaboration involves offering understanding and establishing a mindset to unitedly achieve a common goal. Starting with forming a connection and an understanding of personalities of key members involved and then moving on to clearly defined expectations ,reflecting in clearly defined outcomes helps bring focus and thereby promotes efficacy. Their solutions are designed to make healthcare more transparent, efficient, and patient-centric. 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀: DocPlix has raised ₹1.2 crore in a bridge funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures. The funds are being used for product development, AI integration, and market expansion. The startup also plans to expand globally, starting with the USA by late 2024. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗲: The Indian EHR market, which DocPlix is part of, was valued at $414 million in 2022 and is projected to grow to $900 million by 2030.
