That is very interesting - 2 out of 3 Independent directors on listed Boards do not have prior Board experience in a listed company as per the below article. That is specifically relevant information for our network because we are placing very experienced women leaders with 25+ years of professional experience, with Board training and MCA test done onto listed boards. The most common reason given by listed companies, why some do not get an interview, is because they don't have listed Board experience.

Integrated co-working firm EFC (I) Ltd plans to form an investment manager assets and investments of SM REIT through a wholly owned subsidiary EFC Ltd. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has introduced regulations for Small and Medium Real Estate Investment Trusts (SM REITs), allowing fractional ownership of rent-yielding real estate assets with a minimum investment of Rs 10 lakh. Companies like EFC (I) Ltd and WiseX are preparing to register under these regulations. EFC (I) Ltd plans to create an investment manager entity through its subsidiary for managing SM REIT assets. The move aims to enhance transparency, attract retail and institutional investors, and increase market liquidity. SM-REIT s will have an asset value between Rs 50 crore and Rs 500 crore and can leverage up to 49% of their assets. Investment managers are mandated to hold a certain percentage of outstanding units based on the leverage status of the SM-REIT.
