Drawing from #psychological, #linguistic, & educational research. Communication serves as the cornerstone of human interaction, facilitating the exchange of ideas, emotions, and information. However, the #effectiveness of communication can be hindered when individuals involved possess differing levels of understanding on a given topic. This discrepancy in #comprehension may arise due to differences in educational #background, #expertise, cognitive abilities, or #cultural context. Consequently, conversing with someone who is not on the same level of understanding presents unique challenges that require careful navigation to ensure clarity and mutual comprehension. To #effectively communicate across varying levels of understanding, it is essential to recognize the spectrum of comprehension that exists among individuals. At one end of the #spectrum are experts or individuals with advanced knowledge and specialized vocabulary within a particular domain. At the other end are novices or those with limited familiarity with the subject matter. Between these extremes lie individuals with varying degrees of familiarity & expertise, forming a continuum of comprehension levels. Miscommunication may occur when #assumptions about shared knowledge are made, leading to #confusion or misunderstanding. *COQ* Cost of Quality (COQ) is a method used by Organizations to show financial impact of quality activities. Basically there are 3 major categories of quality costs - Failure cost ( Internal & External), appraisal cost and prevention cost. The organisation’s objective should be to decrease failure cost, minimise appraisal cost and increase prevention cost, (only for achieving reduction in failure and appraisal costs). The Organizations who have not used COQ measurement before, should educate senior management about methods and benefits of such programs. Post that a pilot program should be developed. The Product / service lines with opportunities for improvement must be selected first. There are several methods to measure quality. One method is used during manufacturing and other method use activity assessment of the organisation.

The Indian chemical industry plays a pivotal role in contributing to the economy of the country, accounting for approximately 7 per cent of GDP and is expected to reach USD304 billion by 20251 , up from USD178 billion in 2021. The industry continues to remain an attractive hub for opportunities for both domestic and multinational manufacturers. Specialty chemicals segment comprises a significant portion of India‘s chemical industry. With rising demand for value-added products by both domestic consumption and exports, the industry has experienced a significant increase from end-user segments such as the food industry, automobile industry, real estate, clothes and cosmetics, among other industries. Additionally, the Indian specialty chemicals industry is also expected to outpace China, Japan and the rest of the world. From a trading perspective, specialty chemicals account for a significant share of more than 50 per cent of chemical exports2 . Active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and dyes and pigments continue to dominate the sub-segments in terms of influencing export potential. The competitive intensity, margin profiles, safety from price fluctuations in raw materials and growth potential vary between the segments within specialised chemicals
