Illegal payment gateways are on the rise, created by transnational organized cyber criminals using mule bank accounts to launder money from various cybercrimes. Recent police raids in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh uncovered these operations. The Ministry Of Home Affairs (mha), GOI is stepping up efforts to enhance cybersecurity nationwide. The Indian Cybercrime Coordination Center (I4C) urges citizens not to sell or rent their bank accounts, company registrations, or Udhyam Aadhaar certificates, as doing so can result in legal consequences, including arrest.
