C wins the trophy of the most energy efficient coding language. According to the research paper Ranking Programming Languages by Energy Efficiency published on January 4, 2021, by researchers Rui Pereira, Marco Coutoc, Francisco Ribeiroc, Rui Ruac, J´acome Cunhac, Joao Paulo Fernandesd, and Joao Saraivac, C was found to be the most energy efficient coding language, with Rust, C++, Ada, and Java coming at 2nd , 3rd , 4th and 5th most efficient coding languages, respectively. Yesterday, BSNL took the internet by storm by announcing that they had completed the installation of another 1000 4G towers within a week in remote locations under the project Saturation 4G. Till now, BSNL has already installed 12,000 4G towers in India in partnership with TCS . In 2021, AMD announced an ambitious target of achieving a 30X increase in energy efficiency for its EPYC CPUs and Instinct accelerators in AI training and HPC applications by 2025.
