What an incredible experience at our Annual Client Partner Conference 2024! Focused on the theme of "Building Enduring Businesses," the event brought together Limited Partners, friends of the fund, portfolio companies, and key players from the broader PE/VC ecosystem for a day filled with insights and high-energy discussions. The morning opened with a powerful speech by Gopal Srinivasan, followed by Krishna Ramachandran’s deep dive into our latest strategic initiatives and portfolio updates. The standout moment of the day was the keynote address by Vellayan Subbiah, whose interactive session was packed with real-world examples that resonated with the audience. The fireside chat, led by Narayan Ramachandran and featuring insights from Yogesh Mahansaria and Vellayan Subbiah, was another highlight, with an engaging Q&A session that spurred thoughtful dialogue. In keeping with our commitment to sustainability, we honored our guests by planting over 300 native saplings in Chennai, in an attempt to offset carbon footprint. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a success! Drawing on his experiences with Chola Finance, he discussed organisation design, tube investments, and India’s incredible growth potential. He added, “Organisations are basically made of organisms, and we all are organisms. Each of us possesses a particular amount of energy. When I look at the energy of organisations, it’s nothing but the summation of the energy of the individuals in the organisation.” Reflecting on his personal journey, Vellayan said, “You have to keep investing to improve yourself.
