Inspiring the Next Generation to Lead on Sustainability Today, I had the privilege of interacting with a group of 6-10-year-old students from The Kulish School. Their level of awareness about climate change was truly inspiring—far beyond what we often expect at that age. They recognized the urgency of our environmental challenges and were eager to contribute. In fact, these children, who’ve contributed almost nothing to the current crisis, readily pledged to: - Reduce balloon usage - Conserve water & electricity - Avoid wasting food - Practice proper waste segregation - Start composting at home One question they asked really stuck with me: “Ma’am, shouldn’t industries be doing something about this?” Yes. Industries, corporations, and governments must do more. But as these young minds reminded me, accountability shouldn’t stop us from taking personal action right now. While we encourage top-level players to implement sustainable practices, every individual step counts. **What can we do today?** - Mentor and educate younger generations—our future leaders—about sustainable solutions. - Share stories of positive changes and engage communities in dialogue. - Make incremental adjustments in our own lives to reduce waste and carbon footprints. - Support policies, innovations, and businesses that prioritize sustainability. These kids are taking responsibility without hesitation. Let’s ensure that our organizations and communities rise to the challenge as well. Their future—and ours—depends on it. #Sustainability #ClimateAction #FutureLeaders #CorporateResponsibility #EnvironmentalStewardship

  • Imagine if your banana peel could become food for plants instead of sitting in a stinky trash pile! That’s the magic of waste segregation and composting ! When we separate organic waste like fruit peels, veggie scraps, and even eggshells, we give them a second life as compost—a superfood for plants! It’s like a fun recycling game where nature wins. Our little children learning how to segregate waste and the impact it has on the environment while getting hands on experience on composting food waste ! #thekulishschool #wastemanagement #sustainability #ecofriendly #ecowarriors #handsonlearning #valuebasedlearning

  • At Kulish School, we believe in nurturing not just knowledge but the confidence to navigate life safely and respectfully. Recently, our students participated in a vital workshop on Good Touch, Bad Touch, where they gained essential tools to understand boundaries, respect, and personal safety. Through interactive activities and meaningful conversations, we’re empowering them to recognize their worth, speak up, and protect themselves in every situation. Together, we are creating a community rooted in safety, dignity, and trust. #KulishSchool #EmpoweringYouth #SafetyMatters #GoodTouchBadTouch #HealthyBoundaries #ChildProtection #TogetherWeGrow

  • Imagine this: An old T-shirt, destined for the trash, transformed into a funky, reusable bag—by kids! It’s more than just a fun DIY project; it’s a hands-on lesson in sustainability, creativity, and the power of making a difference. When children turn ‘trash into treasure,’ they discover that every little action counts. Let’s make sustainable living a habit—for a cleaner, greener today and tomorrow! #ecofriendly #sustainability #sustainableliving #thekulishschool#jaipurschools#handonlearning#newageeducation#CreativeRecycling #UpcyclingFun #KidsGoGreen #FutureIsBright

  • On World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, we paid tribute to those whose journeys were cut short in a road accident and reflect on the importance of safe roads for all. Teaching road safety early to school children is crucial—it shapes lifelong habits, fosters responsibility, and saves lives and we are happy to share our kids were amongst the youngest to participate in an NGO led Road Safety awareness program .. it’s important to make children learn not in a bubble of a classroom but connect them with the real world so they broaded their horizon about learning and life ! #thekulishschool#worlddayofremeberence#trafficrules#safetyonroads#jawaharkalakendra#muskaanfoundation

  • Celebrating the child within us ! Today, we not only celebrated Children’s Day in our school but also the child within us as our teachers took to stage dressed as children to perform for their beloved students ! Our teachers showed us that they’re not just educators—they’re performers and the love they have for their students was evident in every song, every dance move, and every skit . The thunderous applause the teachers received with every performance spoke of the love reciprocated by the children !! It was a celebration of childhood and a reminder of the magic that comes from simply having fun together. #thekulishschool#jaipurschool#valuebasedlearning#ChildrensDay #ForeverYoung #TeachersWhoInspire #KeepTheChildAlive

  • Visit to JAIPUR RUGS Ever thought about what carpet-making can teach young minds? A visit to Jaipur Rugs by our children of grade 2 and 3 was more than just seeing how things are made—it was a lesson in patience, creativity, and precision. Students gained hands-on exposure to craftsmanship, learning the skill and dedication woven into each piece. By experiencing it firsthand, kids develop empathy for artisans and an eye for detail that goes beyond textbooks. They learn about sustainable practices, ethical labor, and the value of handmade work. It’s a creative, real-world lesson in the power of human skill—a skill they’ll carry with them in any field. Grateful to Jaipur Rugs for welcoming our children with open arms and giving them this incredible experience! #thekulishschool#jaipurrugs#jaipurschools#artisancraft#skillbasedlearning#valuebasedlearning About JAIPUR RUGS Jaipur Rugs , a name synonymous with finest carpets was founded by Shri NK Chaudhary in 1978, working beside nine artisans on two looms. • Pet Day at School !!! Our early learners couldn’t contain their joy with a special furry friend in school! From feeding and playing to gentle cuddles, they had a blast bonding with the pet. Engaging with animals helps them grow into caring, compassionate little humans, discovering the joy of kindness and respect for all living things. #YoungLearners #CaringHearts #PetDayFun#valuebasedlearning#jaipurschools

  • The Kulish School students embarked on a fascinating journey back in time with their visit to the majestic Amer Fort! As they wandered through its grand halls and intricate courtyards, they were captivated by the stunning architecture and rich history that echoed from every stone. The exploration went beyond just marveling at the beauty—it was an insightful dive into jal sangrah, where students uncovered the ancient wisdom behind water conservation. They learned how stepwells, or bawries, were ingeniously designed to collect and store water, ensuring sustainability for entire communities in a time when modern technology didn’t exist. This hands-on learning experience not only brought history to life but also emphasized the significance of preserving our cultural heritage and understanding traditional practices in today’s world. The trip was a perfect blend of fun, education, and inspiration, leaving students with a deeper appreciation for the marvels of the past and the lessons they hold for our future.” #KulishSchool #AmerFort #JalSangrah #Stepwells #WaterConservation #LearningThroughExploration #LivingHistory
