SVP India Fast Pitch 2025 applications for Non-Profit organizations opened on 10th September 2024, and over the past 3 months, we have had a rigorous selection process to determine our Top 10 NGO finalists for the cohort of 2025. With so many NGOs across the country doing meaningful work with on-ground impact, the selection process has been far from easy. Here's a glimpse into how we narrowed it down! 50 SVP India Partners were on the selection committees and learnt so much about the fantastic NGOs who applied for the program. Grateful to @give.do for playing the key role of on-ground due diligence partner in the selection process! #SVPIndia #FastPitch2025 #FastPitch #SocialImpact #NonProfits Give Amita Chauhan Sherry Yezdani Govind Iyer Sunil Bhandari

𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐔𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐕𝐏 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝 UMEED , an NGO supported by SVP Hyderabad, is dedicated to empowering women and young girls to become self-confident, independent, and employable. Last year, SVP Hyderabad collaborated with Umeed to model their flagship project, 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐩—a holistic training program for graduate girls focusing on skill development, mindset enhancement, and exposure to opportunities. This year, SVP is supporting Umeed’s 𝐒𝐀𝐇𝐘𝐎𝐆 program, an initiative aimed at strengthening the employability ecosystem in Telangana. SAHYOG trains government-employed Full-Time Mentors (FTMs) from degree colleges across Telangana to guide their students in becoming job-ready and securing employment. On December 6th and 7th, the SAHYOG team conducted its “Q2” training session at the RUSA Resource Centre in Nampally, Hyderabad. Building on insights from the 𝐐1 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, the Q2 sessions equipped FTMs with tools and techniques such as: • Identifying skill gaps • Creating effective lesson plans • Leveraging the internet to find experts and organize external training sessions • Exploring employment opportunities in nearby regions The enthusiasm of the FTMs to attend Q2 training was evident, reflecting the positive impact observed during post-Q1 field assessments. Umeed trainers visited various districts to evaluate the FTMs’ interactions with students, noting significant improvements and a strong drive to enhance their mentoring capabilities. We extend our heartfelt wishes to Umeed’s Founders and Lead Partners—RVS, Bhaskar Jayraman, and Sujatha Reddy—for their inspiring efforts and vision. Best of luck on this impactful journey!
