ACM India SIGCHI SRM participated in the ACM India Chapter Summit 2024, organized at B.M.S. College of Engineering and R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore, on 20.12.2024 and 21.12.2024. The ACM SIGCHI SRM showcased a poster presentation titled Imagining India 2030: Pathways to Meet SDGs, which highlighted innovative approaches to achieving sustainable development goals. The Summit 2024 provided an excellent platform to present their work, engage in insightful discussions, and learn from other participants. It also served as a valuable networking opportunity, enabling them to connect with core members from various ACM clubs across different states. The Department of Computational Intelligence is thrilled to announce that on 3rd December 2024, it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ENERGY7 . The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Siddhartha Singh, Co-Founder and Director of Energy7, Dr. Revathi Venkataraman (Chairperson), Dr. C. Lakshmi (Associate Chairperson, School of Computing), Dr. ANNIE UTHRA (HoD, CINTEL), Dr.Sudha Rajesh Asso.Prof and Dr A. L. Amudha Asst Professor. Energy7 specializes in providing AI solutions to Indian Railways, including IoT-based condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and remote diagnostics.
