Hosted an engaging Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors Community Event in the vibrant city of Kolkata! ✨ The journey commenced back in August of the previous year when Simran Sharma expressed her interest in organizing an offline event in Kolkata through the MLSA group. Responding eagerly, Jyothi Swaroop Makena and I expressed our enthusiasm to take charge of the event. Despite facing some challenges, the determination to host a community event in Kolkata, particularly a Microsoft event that had been absent since 2018, remained unwavering. Fast forward to December, Simran reached out again, and this time, we were determined to make it happen. I can confidently state that this event's inception wouldn't have been possible without her unwavering support. 💫 The following weeks were filled with meticulous planning and preparation for Microsoft Ambassadors Aurora Kolkata. A heartfelt thanks to Arunima Chatterjee for securing the venue, and a special shoutout to Google Developer Students Club of Techno International New Town (GDSC-TINT) and Abir Roy for providing fantastic volunteers 🌟 Gratitude extends to our esteemed speakers of the day: Md Nasirul Haque, Jyoti Mishra, Sandip Palit, Sourav Tiwari, Soumyadip Chowdhury, Rishiraj Acharya, Harshavardhan Bajoria. Your wisdom, coupled with clear slides and impactful demos, truly made the event remarkable. You were the heartbeat of the occasion. ❤️ The sessions were : 1. Md Nasirul Haque captivated the audience with insights into Gen AI and its intersection with Microsoft. 2. Rishiraj Acharya provided an in-depth exploration of Tokenization and embeddings, unraveling their intricacies. 3. Sandip Palit illuminated the audience on the potent capabilities of Power BI, showcasing its impact. 4. Soumyadip Chowdhury offered valuable insights into the Developer Platform, sharing expertise and knowledge. 5. Jyoti Mishra delivered a comprehensive overview of the Secured App Service, providing a deep understanding of its functionalities. 6. Sourav Tiwari skillfully navigated the audience through the dynamic world of Kubernetes, unraveling its complexities. 7. Harshavardhan Bajoria delved into the fascinating realm of Azure AI, offering valuable perspectives on its applications and advancements. A BIG shoutout to our dedicated team—from the web development squad to the charismatic anchors who captivated attendees with charm and enthusiasm. Subhadeep, Anish, Debosmita, Tithi B.., Soumyajit, Simerjeet, Akshay, Arnab, Ricky, just to name a few :D I express my gratitude for your integral role in making this event a triumph :) With this, Kolkata now proudly boasts a Microsoft Ambassadors Aurora Kolkata 2024 Chapter .
