URJA 2024: ENERGISING THE SPIRIT OF SPORTS AND TRADITIONS Date: 12th December 2024, Thursday Location: LDC Public School, Soraon, Prayagraj The 14th Annual Cultural Program at LDC Public School, Prayagraj, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Mayank Pandey, Professor and Head of computer science and engineering MNNIT Prayagraj. The program also welcomed the Guest of Honor, Mrs. Ritika Awasthi, Secretary Director of Rangmanch Mandal Prayagraj, Classical dancer Bharatnatyam, National Level-1 , along with members of the School Management System, Mr. Vivek Gupta, Mrs. Pooja Gupta, Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Mrs. Divya Gupta, Principal Mrs. Geeta Arora, teachers, and parents. The event featured a wide range of performances by the students, including a Welcome Song, smile on Our Face, Bucket Race, Save Water Dance, Martial Arts, 200-meter race, Manikarnika Dance, Relay Race, Kalia Mardan Dance, Tug of War, Lilliput Dance, and many other exciting activities. The children captivated the audience with their energy and creativity, presenting spectacular events such as the 200-meter race, relay race, pyramid formations, march past, and tug of war. These activities not only entertained but also provided a valuable learning experience for the students. Awards were presented to the outstanding performers and teams in various categories, including: 200 Meter Race - Satyam Yadav Best Pyramid Formation - Raman House Best March Past - Radhakrishnan House Tug of War - Radhakrishnan House Best Assembly - Vivekananda House Best Anchor of the Year- Tasmiya Haroon Best Sportsman of the Year- Mohd. Adil ( 11th commerce) Overall Champion Trophy- Radhakrishnan House Chandra Mohan Trophy- Shrishti Yadav (class 10th A) Bina Trophy- Priyanshu Gupta (12th Maths , s session 2023-24) The Chief Guest, Dr. Mayank Pandey, did the honor of presenting these awards to the winners. The event was smoothly anchored under guidance of Shashi Mishra and Pratiksha Shukla. Last but not the least , Principal Mrs. Geeta Arora expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all attendees. In her message, she emphasized the significance of the annual cultural program, Urja, as an integral part of children's growth, helping them develop life skills and connect with their community. She also expressed her appreciation to the parents for their continuous support in nurturing their children's talents. The program concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
