IAN Group (formerly Indian Angel Network) is pleased to share that Zypp Electric, an IAN Group portfolio company, has secured a strategic milestone by investing in the Indian electric two-wheeler brand OdysseEV. The investment will enhance Odysse Electric’s presence in the B2B market and expand their worldwide dealership network. As part of this collaboration, Zypp Electric has placed an order for 40,000 electric vehicles (EVs) from Odysse Electric, which will be delivered in the next two to three years.  Akash Gupta, the Co-Founder and CEO of Zypp Electric, outlined the company’s vision to deploy 200,000 EVs over the next few years as part of its mission to decarbonise last-mile delivery. He emphasised that this investment aligns with Zypp Electric’s core values, and that Odysse Electric’s focus on quality and customised solutions make it an ideal partner. This investment will strengthen the EV ecosystem and highlight Zypp Electric’s commitment to driving innovation and accelerating India’s transition to sustainable mobility.
