Leading a passionate team of volunteers from the IET Mumbai Local Network has been nothing short of an extraordinary journey. The IET Mumbai Local Network volunteers have had the privilege of inspiring, informing, and influencing thousands of engineers, engineering students, young professionals, and seasoned experts in the engineering and tech community every year. Through tech platforms, lectures, talks, events, competitions, workshops, mentoring, hands-on sessions, and even contributing to government policies, our impact extends beyond Mumbai to a national and international level. Volunteering has taught me to explore my strengths and push beyond limits. Unlike structured roles in professional organizations, volunteering opens the door to limitless learning and unparalleled networking opportunities. Today, as Chairperson, I feel truly honored to lead an enthusiastic team of volunteers who make all this possible. 11 years before, my journey started as a Student Member, then transitioned to roles such as Ordinary Member, Young Professional Secretary, Young Professional Chairperson, Secretary, and now, I am proud to complete my first year as Chairperson. To all the volunteers: YOU are the backbone of this success. Together, we continue to inspire change, create opportunities, and shape the future of engineering.
