This day highlights the importance of empowering girls, amplifying their voices, and supporting their aspirations. By focusing on the education, rights, and opportunities of the girl children , we can help shape a future where every girl’s dreams are realized and their potential is highly recognized. This day reflects on the progress made and the work that is still needed to ensure an equal and brighter tomorrow for all the girls.

SHAKTI: GIRL CHILD DAY DISTRIBUTION EVENT On the occasion of International Girl Child Day, IEEE HIT SB undertook a meaningful initiative to distribute essential items to underprivileged girls. The mission aimed at providing support to those lacking education on vital hygiene topics and focused on providing immediate needs to them. During the event, the team distributed curated gift hampers, including sanitary napkins, handwash, and other essentials. The outreach covered areas like Gandhinagar and nearby communities near the Abhinandan Boys Hostel. Through this initiative, IEEE HIT SB demonstrated its commitment to fostering a more equitable world, ensuring every girl can thrive and access vital health information

Hello Followers! IEEE HIT SB organized a three-day PSPICE workshop from August 21-23, 2024, at the Electrical Department, with sessions starting at 3:30 PM on the first day and 3 PM on the subsequent days. The workshop was held in two venues: the Control System Lab and Smart Room 6108. On the first day, under the mentorship of Associate Prof. Dr. Partha Sarathi Das, Asst. Prof. Mr. Souvik Maulik, Asst. Prof. Mr. Ayandeep Ganguly, and Asst. Prof. Mrs. Alpana Barman, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of PSPICE, learning about its integration with SPICE for comprehensive circuit simulation. The second day saw Asst. Prof. Mr. Souvik Dutta and Asst. Prof. Mr. Saubhik Maulik guiding attendees through advanced topics, including Op-amps, diodes, rectifiers, and their code implementations. On the final day, Asst. Prof. Mr. Nayan Manna, Asst. Prof. Mr. Banshidhari Samanta, Asst. Prof. Mr. Shouvik Mondal, and Asst. Prof. Mr. Gautam Das provided expert insights into complex PSPICE concepts, enabling participants to simulate and analyze electronic circuits effectively. Over three enriching days from 15th-17th March, 2024, participants delved into the intricacies of electronics, starting with the creation of "Music Controlled DJ Lights" on Day 1. Day 2 brought a deep dive into "Dark Activated LED Lights," complete with enlightening discussions and a thrilling quiz session. On Day 3, attendees honed their skills with hands-on activities on battery-level indicators and fire alarm circuits.
