Celebrating a Milestone: Over 1 Crore Plus Meals Distributed! We are incredibly proud to share that the Akshay Patra Foundation, in collaboration with HEG Limited, has successfully distributed over 1 crore meals to school children attending government schools in Bhopal. This impressive milestone of 1 crore plus meals was achieved in just 1.5 years of operation. HEG Limited has played a vital role in this initiative, having spent Rs 14 crores for the construction of a central kitchen and contributing approximately Rs 7 crores annually to meet the meal deficit in the mid-day meal scheme. This support enables the distribution of hot, nutritious meals every day to 50,000 children enrolled in 846 government schools. This remarkable achievement is a testament to our unwavering commitment to social responsibility and the welfare of our communities.
