Satyen will play a pivotal role in shaping machine learning at Glance, with a particular focus on recommendations and personalization. With over 16 years of expertise in personalization, recommendation systems, user profiling, and online social networks, Satyen brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at Rakuten, Samsung, and VMware. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, where his dissertation explored “Location Mining in Online Social Networks.” Satyen has also authored over 10 conference and journal papers, filed or been granted more than 20 patents, and co-authored the book Analyzing and Securing Social Networks.
