The Israel Securities Authority (ISA) announces that it has postponed the option for early adoption of IFRS 18 until the first quarter of 2025. Companies interested in early adoption are required to prepare thoroughly and provide detailed disclosure to investors. In particular, they should emphasize the standard's impact on financial covenants and executive compensation. Corporations must provide comprehensive and qualitative information about the implementation process of the standard and all relevant implications for their operations. 📊 It was decided that: ➡️ IFRS 18 will replace IAS 1 and change the presentation of financial statements, including the presentation of income statements by categories and mandatory summary lines. ➡️ The standard will become mandatory on January 1, 2027, for all entities reporting under International Accounting Standards. ➡️ The postponement is intended to balance improving reporting quality with providing sufficient preparation time for corporations and the market . ➡️ Corporations will be required to detail the accounting policies and judgments applied in implementing the standard.
