Definitely one of the best teams I’ve met and worked with in the local tech scene. Run:ai ✨ But a few more reasons why this acquisition is awesome. 1. Nvidia appreciates us & keeps on doubling-down on the Israeli startup ecosystem. After the huge success with Mellanox the Giant is here to stay. That’s great. Again - I’d say that a big part of it belongs to Eyal Waldman. 2. Israel will get stronger, or at least keep on track within the race to AI. 3. Timing: especially now. When Israel is threatened and facing different attacks, and some big challenges. While many of us are not at our best (to say the least) and fight for our future - Nvidia knows what great innovation we have here, how great the teams are - and closing such a deal. 4. Just like many other great things we’ve seen recently, also this innovation starts with science. Education is important! 5. A small reason to smile and feel proud of our tech industry. Happy news. The Voice of the Consumer (VoC) - or Voice Of People ( VoP )- refers to the process of capturing and analyzing customer feedback, opinions, preferences, trends and expectations regarding a political party, persons, product, service, or brand. It's crucial for businesses and political persons as it provides valuable insights into customer needs and helps in shaping marketing and messaging strategies . Improving VoC involves several steps: 1. Encourage customers to share their feedback through various channels such as surveys, social media, customer support interactions, and online reviews. 2. Collect comprehensive data including trends, opinions and popular anchor terms that people use. 3. Utilize analytics tools to analyze the collected data. Look for patterns, trends, words , anchor terms of each groups and correlations to identify key insights and prioritize areas for improvement. 4. Act on the insights gained from customer behavior analytics by making necessary changes in messaging, products, services, processes, or policies to better align with people's expectations. 5. Recently I was at an event at Google, and they were ranking the top technological-ecosystems in the world. Tel Aviv was number 3. Even after the last year, we have demonstrated an incredible commitment to our ideas, our development, and yes — our dreams. Amazing news for Israel, but maybe not so great news for the Israeli tech scene? Ilya Sutskever Raises $1 Billion for his New AI Venture! Bottom Line: Ilia Sutskever, one of OpenAI’s co-founders, has raised $1 billion for his new company, which aims to develop Super-Intelligence—an AI that can outperform human cognitive tasks with much (much) greater intelligence and efficiency. Just three months after announcing his new venture—Safe SuperIntelligence (which I wrote about previously) — it was revealed just a few days ago that Sutskever, a former Israeli and one of the brightest minds in the industry, has secured $1 billion at a $5 billion valuation. The funding round, of course, includes some of the most renowned investors in the world (Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, and others). Sutskever founded the venture alongside @Daniel Levy, who worked with him at OpenAI, and investor @Daniel Gross. Pay attention to the word *Safe* in the company's name—it’s a core part of the mission these entrepreneurs have set for themselves. Sutskever says the company is laser-focused on one goal: creating the "holy grail" of AI research—Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)—which would be capable of performing any cognitive process humans can, including language processing, voice recognition, vision, understanding context, decision-making, and more. Fast-Track Funding Program Israeli Tech Companies Program's Description As a quick response to the challenges tech companies are facing, as a result of the “Iron Swords” war, the Israel Innovation Authority is offering a “Fast Track” funding program to support technological companies and projects. Goal of the incentive program This funding program operates through the Innovation Authority’s R&D fund and is designed for innovative Israeli tech companies with a short runway (up to 6 months) that are in the process of raising capital. Those companies that experience challenges in raising capital due to the situation and in need of bridge funding, are the target of this program. Who is the incentive program for? The fast track is designed for Israeli companies who are in the midst of development/early sales with substantial assets (technologies, unique team, consumers etc). What do you get? As Israel celebrates its 76th Independence Day, the amazing guys at the Mamram Alumni Foundation have produced a collection of tips for founders, by founders. It's in Hebrew, but let me translate my own part for the benefit of my English reader friends. Obviously, every journey will be different, and the only constant will be change, so enjoy it! 1. Surround yourself with people you can trust blindly. Co-founders, managers, and team leaders. People that share that excitement and passion for what you are building and are ready to do whatever it takes. 2. Put the customer at the center. It's easy to get excited about something you are building, but always remember there is a customer on the other side that needs to see the value and use it. Always get feedback from customers, so you are aligned with what they need. 3. Don't forget to breathe. This journey is more like a rollercoaster - with ups, downs, and rapid changes. Do yourself and your team a favor and remember to take a moment to recharge. Set ambitious, yet achievable goals, and enjoy the ride. If it's not fun - why doing it?
