Recently I was at an event at Google, and they were ranking the top technological-ecosystems in the world. Tel Aviv was number 3. Even after the last year, we have demonstrated an incredible commitment to our ideas, our development, and yes — our dreams. One of the most beautiful aspects to me about Dreemz is how it’s part of this larger picture of Israeli-Tech-sector resilience. I'm back in Israel, after the insightful 58th ICA conference. I found out that Israel can be one of the global leaders of the AI revolution, but in order to do so, we must collaborate with our true friends in the world. Such a collaboration can only happen when we listen carefully to our international partners, and understand that their critique comes from true friendship. This is my new work uniform: Two weeks ago several of my coworkers were fired for calling for an end to Project Nimbus - a joint contract between Google and Amazon signed in 2021 which provides cloud services to the Israeli government and its military. This was the most recent of many attempts by workers to end the contract. Google should not be providing its services to ANY military. As a global company with billions of users, in nearly every country, making more money than many GDPs, it is an abuse of power and inhumane. Any technology can be used for benefit or detriment. A hammer can build a house and also bash a skull. I’m proud of the technology that Google has developed to facilitate early cancer detection, connect people during crisis and facilitate accessibility. Those same technologies will be used by militaries to kill. Google has a duty to be a responsible steward of its products. Aside from the moral issues, Google’s military contracts are a sign of competitive weakness. To enter this space should be a sign to investors that Google is desperate to maintain revenue growth. Google is a publicly traded company owned by the totality of its shareholders - not its leadership. Israel=Me I've had an incredible career as an Israeli tech and real-estate entrepreneur working for many years at Microsoft, board member at Azrieli Group, and building, exiting and IPOing AI and Internet companies. But the most fulfilling role of my life (besides being a dad of three gorgeous girls, and a husband to my adorable wife Liat❤️) is advocating for Israel, my beloved country🇮🇱 As I traveled over 50 countries in my lifetime, with only an Israeli passport at hand, met 1,000's of people who made my 15,000 LinkdIn community, having numerous global connections and business interactions, the one thing I love and totally passionate about is being an advocate of Israel and Jewish tradition. I nowdays find myself and my social network team, spend about an hour every day trying to block and track down anti-Israelis, who constantly add endless defiant comments to my posts, and report my posts to LinkedIn for being too pro-Israel. I estimate that I've already blocked over 7,000 such LinkedIn members, who commented and looked at my profile. Despite the fact that I got suspended multiple times on the incredible LinkdIn platform, I plan to continue sharing my views and values as an Israel patriot, and not backing down to professional networks terrorists and radical Islamists suppoertes. I get 1,000's of personal comments and feedbacks from colleagues and friends globally, who share with me how they are able to stay up-to-date with the events in Israel, and Jewish people from all over the world who are drawing strength from hearing the direct Israeli prespective, rather then through the bias media. I'm also overwhelmed with the business offers I get from all over the globe to do business with Israel. Watch out for a new partnership talking place with Saudi Arebia 😉 Once people apprach me, they feel like they know me well already. Strange. Take a look at this picture. It was taken today at our Salesforce offices in Tel-Aviv. It shows a few dozens of Salesforce Israel employees in one of our regular all-hands meetings. What's so special about that? Well, that picture was taken exactly 36 hours after Iran launched a massive aerial strike against Israel with 100s of UCAVs, ballistic and cruise missiles carrying about 60 tons(!) of explosives. Thanks to the Israeli Air force, the air forces of the US, UK, France, Jordan and others *and* Israeli innovation and engineering talent who developed the most advanced multi-layered air defense systems in the world - luckily that attack ended up with relatively low impact. It was a sleepless night for all us in Israel who got an advanced notice of the attack and basically spent that night bracing for impact. Now take another look at this picture. 36 hours later - People showing up at the office, talking to each other, having a few laughs, having meetings, discussing deadlines, solving business problems, discussing engineering problems, doing demos, having coffee and lunch together, having an all-hands meeting together. 36 hours ago we were bracing for impact of 60 tons of explosives that were about to fall out of the sky.
