We really thing, that using multiple solutions (sometimes over 30) only make your clinic way less efficient. IVC Data and Insights report on the Israeli venture market for Q1-Q3 2024 reveals: - $7.4 billion invested in Israeli startups, surpassing the entire 2023 total of $6.9 billion. - $13 billion generated from exits, a 26% increase from 2023's $10.4 billion. - 23% surge in foreign investments year-over-year. - 67% of capital sourced from global investors, with 33% from Israeli funds. - $2.7 billion secured by early-stage startups, the second-highest figure in Israeli startup ecosystem history (after 2022's record). These figures demonstrate investors' confidence in the long-term sustainability of the Israeli startup ecosystem. Trust received, challenge accepted. We're building the future, brick by brick.

#StartupNationCentral - a non-profit promoting #Israelitechnology - has launched a great marketmap of Israeli defense companies and startups. The map features over 160 companies, as well as thematic accelerators and investors. You can share it with your friends or save it for yourself. How to use the map: 1. Companies are grouped by themes, and in this case, marked by their focus (pure defense or civilian use as well). 2. Identify the groups that resonate with you, select a logo, and start your research. 3. If a company interests you, follow them and relevant employees on LinkedIn and try to establish contact.

Fast-Track Funding Program Israeli Tech Companies Program's Description As a quick response to the challenges tech companies are facing, as a result of the “Iron Swords” war, the Israel Innovation Authority is offering a “Fast Track” funding program to support technological companies and projects. Goal of the incentive program This funding program operates through the Innovation Authority’s R&D fund and is designed for innovative Israeli tech companies with a short runway (up to 6 months) that are in the process of raising capital. Those companies that experience challenges in raising capital due to the situation and in need of bridge funding, are the target of this program. Who is the incentive program for? The fast track is designed for Israeli companies who are in the midst of development/early sales with substantial assets (technologies, unique team, consumers etc). What do you get? Contrary to the gloomy atmosphere regarding the resilience of Israeli tech and its entrepreneurs, IVC found that the rate of establishing new startups in 2024 is expected to be similar to that in 2023. According to analysis from IVC Data and Insights and LeumiTech Q3 2024 Tech Review, the downtrend in the rate of new companies in Q1-3/24 has been moderated. Although the number of new startups is low at 154, a calculation based on two decades of measuring the rate of new companies shows that the number will shoot up retroactively. Many new startups announce their activity after reaching a milestone, not at the formation. I am excited to share that my opinion piece about how Israeli startups are missing crucial funding opportunities was published in Calcalist כלכליסט. 📌 link to the article in the first comment In the article, I discuss an alarming trend I’m seeing firsthand: many Israeli startups are shutting down without fully exploring all their funding options, particularly when it comes to grants – both local and international. At Twinnovation, I spend a lot of time mentoring startup portfolios of VCs and accelerators, and regularly give lectures and webinars to help founders discover and access critical funding opportunities. What surprises me is how often these companies are hearing about grants for the first time from us. Even when they are aware, they typically only consider local grants and carry a lot of misconceptions about them. What can we do to change this? Startups need to broaden their horizons when it comes to funding. Applying for grants, whether on a national or international level, can be a critical lifeline. It’s time to raise awareness and help founders take advantage of these underutilized resources. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Definitely one of the best teams I’ve met and worked with in the local tech scene. Run:ai ✨ But a few more reasons why this acquisition is awesome. 1. Nvidia appreciates us & keeps on doubling-down on the Israeli startup ecosystem. After the huge success with Mellanox the Giant is here to stay. That’s great. Again - I’d say that a big part of it belongs to Eyal Waldman. 2. Israel will get stronger, or at least keep on track within the race to AI. 3. Timing: especially now. When Israel is threatened and facing different attacks, and some big challenges. While many of us are not at our best (to say the least) and fight for our future - Nvidia knows what great innovation we have here, how great the teams are - and closing such a deal. 4. Just like many other great things we’ve seen recently, also this innovation starts with science. Education is important! 5. A small reason to smile and feel proud of our tech industry. Happy news.
