Het kunstmatige hoornvlies is een interessant alternatief vanwege het donortekort en vormt een opmaat naar regeneratieve gekweekte hoornvliestransplantaten. In Nederland vinden elk jaar zo’n 2000 hoornvliestransplantaties plaats, waarmee het de meest uitgevoerde transplantatie is. Helaas is er wereldwijd een groot tekort aan donorhoornvliezen met 1 donor per 70 patiënten. 𝗘𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗮𝘁👀 Door het donortekort is het de persoonlijke drijfveer van Mor om alternatieven te vinden. '𝘋𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘷𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘢𝘭 𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘢𝘬𝘵.
