While the threat of trade-based money laundering (TBML) persists, ADB Trade & Supply Chain Finance Program’s pilot, in collaboration with UNODC and FIUs across five Asian countries, has changed our approach to data. In this fight, data is our strongest weapon, and technology allows it to be deployed. Trade-based money laundering (TBML) is a challenging obstacle, but ADB Trade & Supply Chain Finance Program’s latest pilot, in collaboration with UNODC and FIUs across five Asian countries, shows TBML is not insurmountable.
