From concept to full production in 9 months, during a global pandemic? Here's how we made the impossible possible: In 2020, we helped Greenfield Global establish their new state-of-the-art cGMP production facility in Portlaoise, Ireland – a strategic gateway to serve Life Sciences customers across the EU with mission critical chemicals and ingredients. Despite launching during global lockdown, our team successfully implemented a Rockwell PlantPAx 5.0 DCS, enabling: ✅Remote commissioning and training capabilities ✅Full production achieved in just 9 months ✅Seamless scalability for future growth ✅GMP-compliant bioprocess solutions ✅Zero-waste facility production The facility now produces high-purity ethanol and IPA products for pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences applications, supporting critical supply chains when they were needed most. BioPhorum Drug Delivery is delighted to have been involved in judging panels alongside 4 senior BioPhorum colleagues at the CPHI Awards this month. Soroosh Bagheriasl , PhD, our Senior Account Manager represented the team in Milan and awarded the supply chain excellence award.    Soroosh was also a judge for the drug delivery and device innovation category.    Drug delivery devices play an increasingly important role in supporting global health and wellbeing.
