Humour in advertising, "done well," works. But, it's in decline according to the latest results of the Interesting Index. Why is it so hard to be funny? I think brand leaders should be asking a different question. Why don't we understand what makes our audience laugh? The best comedians are keen observers of people, which means they understand their audience. Yes, comedy takes well honed talent. 🍎📈 Back to School is proving to boost sales in Ireland! 🌟Worldpanel by Kantar latest data for the 4 weeks leading up to September 1st 2024, shows that Irish consumers have been eager to get those lunch boxes packed; with shoppers spending an additional €57m than last year. 🍪🥪Sandwiches alongside biscuits proved to be popular lunch box fillers - as 89% of households with children ensured to have bread and biscuits stocked for the start of the school year. 💥 With schedules now busy, we saw an increase of €2.4m vs last year on chilled convenience; speed and ease proving to be popular. #backtoschool #kantar #fmcg #lunchbox #insights #marketresearch
