The ideal glide path shows two red and two white lights, signaling the aircraft is on the correct approach angle. 3. **Different Systems**: There are two common types of PAPI systems- two-light and four-light. The four-light system is more precise, providing a finer indication of the aircraft's altitude relative to the correct glide path. The two-light version is used at smaller airports or in locations where space is limited. . **Global Standard**: PAPI systems are used worldwide and are a standard feature at many airports.
