I've always known that speed is crucial for driving a great customer experience and plays a significant role in CVR, AOV, ROAS, and Revenue. At Thesis, we witnessed conversion rates skyrocket by constructing LPs in AMP. However, slow eCommerce sites post-LP posed a challenge. Brands constantly work on the Client-Side CRO but think there is nothing they can do on the Server-Side. According to KPMG’s 2024 Global Tech Report, Irish companies are lagging behind the global average in boosting profits through tech updates, with only 72% reporting profit increases compared to 87% globally. Though fewer Irish companies struggle to keep pace with tech change (74% versus 78% globally), only 43% say they review and update value-tracking metrics to stay aligned with market changes. AI adoption remains limited in Ireland, with just 24% deploying it at scale, despite 70% noting productivity gains.

I’ve reviewed thousands of CVs from sales professionals, and here’s what I typically see: • Evangelising and educating the UK and Irish markets on technology and applications • Generating new business opportunities through strategic outbound calling and prospecting into large enterprise companies • Establishing, building, and nurturing relationships with senior executives by understanding their business, challenges, future projects, and plans, to address their needs • Achieving monthly and quarterly quotas for new business opportunities • Being a trusted member of the regional sales team, collaborating with country managers, and working cross-functionally with marketing to define joint strategies for business development • Managing partner relationships and running countrywide events When I’m reviewing applications, these are the key elements I always look out for: • Quota & attainment • Who did you sell to?
