We at PAFS Ireland Ltd had a busy Quarter filled with lots of activity from CSR volunteering to fundraising. We held a coffee morning in aid of Milford Hospice. A huge thank you to the bakers in PAFS who out did themselves with some delicious home baked goods and to all the employees for their generous donations which were kindly matched by PAFS Ireland. A fantastic €1,780 was raised for such a great cause. Next up, our CSR team organised Care Packs to be sent to Nursing Homes across Clare for Christmas. carepack.ie is a voluntary organization that runs a kindness campaign every Christmas, connecting residents in Nursing Homes and Care Homes with kind members of the public who would like to send them a gift for Christmas. A big thank you to the staff for their generous gifts. We distributed 12 Care Packs to the Raheen Community Hospital, Scariff, Co. Clare and we are sure the residents were delighted to receive them. Lastly, we had our annual Christmas Jumper Day which proves to be a very festive day in our office. In previous years we have supported charities such as Pieta House, Focus Ireland, St Vincent De Paul & The Simon Community, but this year we are making our annual donation in aid of Clare teenager, Joe Slattery who suffered life altering injuries. John McInerney joined the ABS Panel at the Airline Economics Growth Frontiers Asia Pacific Conference in Singapore last week. John was joined by Deion McCarthy, John Mowry and Paul Wong for an interesting discussion on Aviation ABS Performance, ABS issuances, E-Note Market and Alternative Structures as well as Interest Rate predictions. PAFS Ireland Ltd reaches new heights in the latest Carlyle Aviation Football Tournament. Many thanks to Carlyle Aviation Partners for organising yet another fantastic event in aid of such a worthy cause for the Cancer Clinical Research Fund. During September, the team took part in the Carlyle Aviation Football Tournament which was the 9th time Carlyle hosted the event, and as usual, it was superbly organised and very well attended. During the month of August, a number of PAFS Ireland Ltd employees volunteered at Carrigoran House in Newmarket on Fergus dedicating their time and effort to a meaningful gardening project to enhance the outdoor spaces for the residents. Carrigoran House provides respite care in their residential units. This allows family members to admit their loved ones for short periods of time thus providing caregivers with the necessary rest and respite in order to continue with their care at home. It was a great day out for all involved and we look forward to many more volunteering days in the future! #CSR #volunteering #community
