The Office of Government Procurement Professional Practice team has successfully concluded a series of 👩🎓 Legal Guidance Masterclasses delivered by the Public Procurement Law Section of the Chief State Solicitor’s Office ⚖️, for the procurement teams in the OGP that began a year ago. Each month focused on important legal aspects of the public procurement lifecycle, across pre-award, evaluation, contract formation, award and post award stages. The series was an extremely valuable approach to keeping our procurement practitioners updated on recent public procurement Case Law and/or the Legal Framework of the Public Procurement regime under which we operate. Many thanks to the Chief State Solicitor’s Office for their continued support with our procurement professionals and to all that attended and worked to make them possible 👏.

A big thank you to our speakers for the second and third session of the OGP Client Conference 2024. 👏. Each speaker offered highly valuable insights to our attendees, who made up 300 people in person and 800 online.

It is open to public procurement representatives across all government departments as well as clients of the OGP, a division of the Department of Public Expenditure NDP Delivery & Reform. The theme this year is ‘Enhancing Public Procurement’, and attendees can expect presentations and panel discussions surrounding the relevant issues regarding public procurement in Ireland, such as Green and Social Procurement, innovation and future challenges and policy direction. This morning, Anne Stewart, Assistant Secretary General with the Office of Government Procurement, presented at the Digital Transformation of Public Procurement Conference in the Spencer Hotel, Dublin.
