As e-invoicing continues to gain global traction, the recent approval of the VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) package marks a significant shift in tax reporting and compliance in the EU. To ensure the right data and systems are in place to meet these changes, it is crucial for businesses to start preparing now. The Tax Technology Update article in the most recent issue of the Irish Tax Review, authored by Tim Duggan and Katie Aragane in KPMG’s Tax Transformation and Technology team, explores: - The fundamentals of e-invoicing - EDI vs e-invoicing today - E-invoicing implementation models adopted across jurisdictions - How businesses can prepare for the upcoming changes Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/e78jNHM7
