About us
The Irish Primary Principals’ Network (IPPN) was established in 2000. IPPN is the recognised professional body for Ireland’s primary school leaders. With a membership of over 6,000 Principals and Deputy Principals, IPPN is an independent, not-for-profit, voluntary association, a registered charity, a company limited by guarantee and an official Education Partner of the Department of Education. A child’s early years in primary school are the most formative. IPPN’s strategic objective is to transform, and continuously improve, the quality of Irish primary education through a critical group of highly motivated school Principals, who are committed to change and possess the confidence, knowledge and skills to lead that change.

Very excited to announce this rebrand. Our focus and growth will continue. Our work in supporting #aspiringleaders remains a top priority for the team but we wanted to capture that we support practicing education leaders too.
