During the festive season, we are proud to have supported the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, welcoming their dogs and volunteers at the Maxol sites we operate. Together, we sold car air fresheners across the Northern Ireland sites we operate. A big thank you to all our customers who made our Christmas fundraiser such a success!

We are thrilled to celebrate the accomplishments of eight of our colleagues who have recently graduated through our partnership with Retail Ireland Skillnet, an organisation dedicated to advancing professional development in the retail sector. Over the past few weeks two graduation ceremonies took place, marking a proud moment for our teams. The first one was the Degrees in Retail Management Practice ceremony, where three of our colleagues earned their qualifications. Just a few weeks later, the Athlone Springs Hotel hosted a ceremony – and five of our colleagues received their Graduation Certificates for the Retail Supervision Apprenticeship. These achievements are a testament to the growth opportunities available at Aramark to learn and develop. They showcase the commitment of our colleagues to their professional journey and highlight the value of our partnership with Retail Ireland Skillnet in fostering growth and success. To all our graduates, a huge congratulations on this significant milestone! Your hard work and dedication inspire us all, and we are excited to see how you continue to thrive and lead in your careers.

Recently, we made a commitment to support the work of the Food Safety Authority of Ireland Food Reformulation Taskforce on behalf of the Department of Health. Since then, we have been actively working to reduce the levels of calories, saturated fat, sugar, and salt in the foods we serve. We committed to contine to expand our range of healthy options and make them more accessible to all. Part of this work included surveying our key suppliers. We’re delighted to share that 75% of our key suppliers are now actively engaging in reformulating their products to align with our commitment to healthier options. By working together with these suppliers, we are not only reducing levels of calories, saturated fat, sugar, and salt in the meals that we serve but also enhancing the nutritional quality of our offerings. Together, we are making strides towards a healthier future for our customers and clients, ensuring that nutritious choices are accessible to everyone.

Yesterday, we gathered our head chefs and managers from healthcare facilities across the country for our Healthcare Chef Forum! The event focused on one goal: elevating flavours in our healthcare menus to create meals that are both nutritious and enjoyable for our patients and residents. Through interactive workshops, tasting sessions, and creative brainstorming, our chefs explored new, innovative ways to enhance the experience and make a meaningful difference in our clients' menus. A huge thank you to Ronan Fox, our Healthcare Executive Chef, who led the event, and all the chefs who brought their passion and commitment for such a fantastic day!
