AIB Merchant Services customer and co-founder of SALT Float & Recovery Suites Galway , Nicola Carty, knows the importance of providing a frictionless, seamless experience to her customers. According to Nicola embracing digital payments ‘set the tone for the kind of business we wanted to be - flexible, convenient, and easy to engage with’. After experiencing the benefits of salt flotation tanks in Canada she could see the opportunity for a similar business in Ireland, and so Salt Float & Recovery Suites was born. As a busy entrepreneur, Nicola understands the benefits technology can provide to a growing business. “Since adopting digital payments, we’ve reduced the time spent on daily reconciliation by up to 15 per cent, allowing us to focus more on customers”. According to research carried out by Visa 29 per cent of those who adopted digital payments say it has helped reduce the administrative burden, while just over a third say they can better meet customer expectations.
