The i2Coalition Announces 2021 Best Practices Initiative Speaker Series

The Internet infrastructure industry faces a diverse set of serious issues regarding security, safety, and privacy. To address these issues, we need to learn from and cooperate with each other along with other like-minded organizations who understand the nuts and bolts of the Internet. The i2Coalition’s Best Practices Initiative has long endeavored to facilitate important discussions and cooperation.

This year, the Best Practices Initiative will be hosting a quarterly speaker series focusing on actions, initiatives and ideas within the Internet’s infrastructure aimed at making the Internet a better, safer place.

Each quarter, i2C member Jim Galvin will moderate a webinar in our speaker series on a specific topic in the industry, and highlighting further action that can be taken by members. Each session is approximately two hours, and may be attended by current i2Coalition members. The webinar format allows for member input and questions. 

The themes for 2021 are as follows:

• Q1 2021: Trust and Safety in the DNS – February 17th, 2021
• Q2 2021: Anti-phishing, Malware & spam Mitigation – Tentative date : Week of May 10th, 2021
• Q3 2021: Addressing Harmful Content Online, Including CSAM- TBD
• Q4 2021: Cloud Cybersecurity Efforts- TBD
