i2Coalition To Sponsor WHD.usa VIP Lunches
i2Coalition is proud to announce that we will be sponsoring VIP lunches on both days of WHD.usa on May 25th-26th, 2016 in Sheraton Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix, Arizona. Bruce Schneier and Chris Riley will be our special guests on successive days, as we talk about the issues that are most important to the Internet’s infrastructure. This will be a chance to talk with these important thought leaders in a small setting, to receive and provide insights on the future of the Internet.
On Wednesday, May 25th at 1:10 PM we will have lunch with internationally renowned security technologist Bruce Schneier, author of Data & Goliath.
Bruce Schneier is the world’s foremost security expert. There are many aspects of security, from the deeply technical, to the areas where security intersect with privacy and politics. The cloud hosting community sits on the front lines of global security battles being waged. Learn from Bruce on what the service provider community needs to know to keep it, and its users safe, and the Internet growing.
On Thursday, May 26th at 1:10 PM we will have lunch with Chris Riley, Head of Public Policy at Mozilla.
Chris Riley is working to advance the open Web through public policy, analysis and advocacy, strategic planning, coalition building, and community engagement. Previously Chris worked as a program manager at the U.S. Department of State, on Internet freedom; as part of a a policy counsel, with the non-profit organization Free Press; and an attorney-advisor at the Federal Communications Commission. Chris holds a PhD in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
WHD.usa VIP pass holders will be able to attend these special events; i2Coalition has secured special VIP passes for its own members. We look forward to seeing WHD.usa VIPs and i2Coalition members for these engaging private talks. i2Coalition members seeking special discounts on WHD.usa should contact [email protected].
