The Consumer Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for supporting the Consumer & Small Business Loan Operations Manager on the initiatives of the Retail Banking division.
This includes portfolio management and assisting with reviewing and adjusting related policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance.
The Quality Assurance Analyst will posses a strong understanding of consumer and small business banking and have experience with quality control, loan operation functions and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure the quality control of retail and small business loan portfolio.
· Contribute to the implementation, development and growth of the retail and small business division and operating systems.
· Identify, develop and implement industry best practices.
· Assist in identifying and developing departmental reports.
· Review system reports and resolve any issues detected with loans booked.
Competencies Required:
· Extensive knowledge of consumer and small business products with a strong understanding of accounting principles, loan and deposit processing procedures, industry practices and regulatory regulations.
· Advanced technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power Point, SQL and Power BI) and banking software applications (Bancline Mozart, AccuSystems and CRIF/Action preferred).
· Strong planning and organizational skills, with an ability to establish a strategic direction and subsequently develop supporting initiatives.
· Excellent customer service skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and diplomacy.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Knowledgeable in all aspects of loan documentation with understanding of legal entities and loan documents such as notes, security agreements, loan/credit agreements, etc.
· Demonstrate ability to research and interpret changes in government regulations and market trends.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
· 2+ years of report programming with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
· 3+ years of quality assurance, audit, and compliance experience in consumer and small business banking.
· 5+ years’ professional business experience in the financial services or banking industry.
Formal Education & Certification:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred.
Work Status:
· Full-Time.

· None.

· 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.
