After the release with us last year of “Living Breathing Xtasy”, her debut EP full of joyful and celebratory Trance inspired anthems which received warm support by great artists like Nene H, Trym, Volvox, Jasss, OTTA, Aisha and more, the Belarus queer artist, who fled dictatorship to find safety and chosen family in Barcelona, is now presenting her new EP "Run Lola Run".

This 3-tracker is a sonic departure from her previous work, more striped down and closer to how she creates her sets as a DJ, with tracks being envisioned as pieces to build multilayered fluid intentional one-offs soundscapes in the fashion of DVS1.

This new EP still showcases Lola Kay's signature elegant percussive Hard Groove while developing a more hypnotic side, where emotional pads and rich textured otherworldly sound design create a moodiness, at times eerie, at times ethereal, at times tense, yet always with a relentless forward drive, like forging ahead through muddy terrain.

Lola Kay has become a staple of Barcelona's exciting post-pandemic queer scene and has made waves in the city with her acclaimed sets from the biggest clubs like Razzmatazz to the smallest intimate queer raves and as a resident of queer collective Yo-Yo and fetish party Kinyxx. With the rest of the world finally catching on, this year saw her bring her craft to London, Paris and Berlin's legendary KitKat Club and Tresor or Amsterdam's ADE.
