CAMPUS SPACES

Welcome to Cortes Island, the land that holds us when we gather.

Where the Salish Sea meets ancient cedar trees and lush, thriving forests. Ocean views from hot tubs and sauna, a unique West Coast-inspired dining experience, and breathtaking gardens to set the tone for your arrival.

The Lodge

The heartbeat of the campus, the lodge is a central gathering space where we break bread and connect over conversations. Eat and enjoy in wonderful company amidst a stunning ocean view of the Salish Sea.

The Garden

The Hollyhock garden, with its towering blooms, delighted buzzing bees, and an abundance of ingredients for the kitchen, has earned its reputation as both a place of awe-inspiring beauty and practical abundance.

Lovingly crafted by master gardeners, floral arrangements from this vibrant sanctuary grace the campus, thoughtfully prepared for each program block.

Hot Tubs & Sauna

New in 2024, the Hollyhock campus features upgraded hot tubs, a sauna, and an outdoor shower overlooking the Salish Sea. Learn more about the new amenities on campus here.

Gateway & Store

Home to the Hollyhock reception and store, Gateway is where you check in and get settled into your Hollyhock experience.

Sanctuary & Bodywork

Tucked away, past the apple orchard you will find Sanctuary and the Bodywork Studio. The handcrafted cob Sanctuary, with quartz-laden foundation offers the perfect space for morning meditations. Across from the Sanctuary is the Bodywork Studio where you may unwind in the hands of skilled practitioners, while birdsong serenade you into deep relaxation.

Kiakum

Tucked into the trees near the garden, and closest to the Lodge, this rustic building’s name roughly translates from Chinook to mean “gathering place.” Kiakum is tucked into the trees behind our garden and is the closest meeting space to the lodge.

Raven

The purposeful design of Raven was created with the intention of fostering deep, inner work, and this space has hosted many sessions since its first use in 1982. Accessed via an inspiring ocean-view pathway.

Olatunji Hall

This inspiring space, with an abundance of natural light, is our largest meeting space, hosting 100+ guests.

Bluff House

Perched atop an ocean overlook, the Bluff House serves as shared accommodation and a session space for smaller gatherings.
