AsianInvestor’s 13th Family Office Briefing last week once again brought together the sector’s seasoned practitioners for thought-provoking discussions in succession planning, venture capital and tokenisation. Very glad to have contributed in a panel to share our own perspectives in future-proving FO portfolios and mega trends.

Last week’s Bloomberg Wealth continued to be a hot ticket in town and a platform for the finance sector to discuss the current state of affairs and the outlook of one of the remaining core strengths of HK, an international financial center and a wealth management hub. Among authoritative speakers including Eddie Yue, Amy Lo and Bonnie Y Chan, in particular enjoy the sharing by Ronnie C Chan & Ariel Chan. In spite of geopolitical tensions, direction of fund flows, and the property problem…. when “everyone is in hell, there must be opportunities”! There seems to be aligned views on vast opportunities exist in the Gulf states, India and Japan… It is a matter of how Hong Kong positions itself to take advantage of these opportunities.

It was very much a privilege to be invited to Dimensional Fund Advisors’ Applied Investment Conference where it showcased how DFA differs from traditional active and passive investment. Also impressed by the presentation on effectively communicating the “Transformed Investor” philosophy. Always time well invested with DFA. #activeinvesting #passiveinvesting #financialadvice
