[𝐂𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲 – 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡]     As part of the Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong's employee volunteering effort, more than 50 volunteers and secondary school students rolled up their sleeves and headed outdoors to clear and collect debris off the Pak Nai mudflats.     Together, we helped clean up parts of the abandoned oyster farm and re-purposed the collected debris into thriving oyster reefs. This outdoors experience not only gave us the chance to connect with Hong Kong’s youth, but also helped boost their mental wellbeing and build resilience through interpersonal learning from our staff volunteers.    At Cigna Healthcare Hong Kong, we aim to continually create change in our neighborhood by building healthier communities that prioritize wellbeing, environment sustainability, and social connection for all. Our team had the privilege of joining Cigna Day to share insights on Youth Mental Health with the Cigna Healthcare team. Dr. William Wing-ho Chui, a renowned Psychiatrist and Vice-Chairman of the Mental Health Foundation, highlighted a concerning trend: over 20% of young people in Hong Kong experience severe to extremely severe levels of depression or anxiety. Yesterday, I had the privilege of volunteering with Inspiring Girls Hong Kong NGO at a local school, joining 130 bright young girls as a role model alongside other incredible mentors. It was truly empowering to share insights and challenge gender stereotypes together. I feel deeply inspired and grateful to be a part of this wonderful community. Over the past week we were able to experience our J.P. Morgan Purpose come to life as our Technologists and Students from Hong Kong partnered with local Non Profit Organisation to develop technology solutions (via the 8 month Force for Good program) or Prototype ideas (via the one day Code for Good Hackathon) to enable these organisation to expand, scale and optimise their operations. This little girl is me. Still enjoying a party, still eating cake, and still finding my way. Growing up, I couldn't have imagined living in Hong Kong for almost twenty years. I'd advise my younger self to embrace change, be open to possibilities, and not let challenges, imposter syndrome and self doubt bring you down. Life comes with setbacks, challenges, and mountains to climb. How we navigate the tough times allows us to cherish the good moments. Remember, you're not alone. You will find love, your tribe, and your passion. Listen to your mum; she's usually right. Your little brother will always be little, even when he is taller than you. Believe in yourself. You can achieve anything you set your mind to, just not all at once. Take time to rest, breathe, and love the people who matter most.
